First year (1B)

                               
We have been having a great time in English in Class 1B! In each of our English books (do you know that we have completed five books so far!) we have been reading stories  about Max and his friends Susy and Bobby. 
One of the stories we really liked was about Nature´s Day. 
Susy drew a beautiful card and hung it from an apple tree in her backyard. Here are some pictures from the story.

      

We wanted to celebrate Nature´s Day too, and so we drew our own cards and hung them from the mimosa tree in the school garden. We wanted others to share this moment with us and so we gave a little bouquet of mimosa to all our teachers and wished them “Happy Nature´s Day!”

                                         

                                

A TRIP TO THE 20th CENTUTY

On January 1st 1901 a boy is born coinciding with the beginning of a new century. His name is Shane Tury. On 31st December 2000 he'll sit down with us to tell us his story, the story of the 20th century. 

The Titanic disaster, the suffragettes....................

 Black Thursday, the arrival of the cinema..........................

TV, computers, mobile phones, the Internet...........

. 

Shane and his family will lead us on a fascinating trip in time to the heart of the 20th century. 

Students from 2º ESO to 1º Bachiller have taken part in this project. We hope you like it!

Welcome to Class 3A!

 

 

 

This is the second year that our class has been learning English with AMCO and we are continuing to improve our vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, understanding of and expression in English! So much so that we ONLY talk in English in our class and we help each other when things are a little tricky to say.

 

In class we work a lot in groups which makes learning fun, easy and successful. We cooperate with each other because we want everyone in our class to be successful.

 

We´d like to show you how we work together in the DAILY ROUTINE. We start every class with some questions. Every day a different student is chosen to be the Mini-teacher and they ask questions to the rest of the students. If someone doesn´t know an answer we help! In that way all of us have an opportunity to talk and improve.
