Twister Spelling Bee: this is how the year 2 students call this spelling game. We use a laminated poster of the letters of the alphabet. We spread the poster on the floor.
The children are asked to spell one word from the list and at the same time they must put their hands and feet onto the letters they say.
Even though we do not use a spinner to determine where the players have to put their limbs, they have great fun due to the precarious positions they are often required to put themselves in. It's hilarious, and they love it!!!
